“Michael Jordan, how do you keep getting hotter?”: Lakers owner Jeanie Buss wishes Bulls legend Happy birthday with some flattering remarks
Lakers owner Jeanie Buss joined the entire NBA community in wishing Michael Jordan a happy 58th birthday on Twitter.
Jeanie Buss is the owner and President of the Lakers – a role she inherited from the late Dr. Jerry Buss. Jeanie has done a great job in reviving the Lakers’ winning tradition. Kobe Bryant would’ve been proud to see the Lakers draw level with the Celtics in championships.
Jeanie is incidentally also a business partner outside of the NBA with Michael Jordan. The two have partnered with Celtics co-governor Wyc Grousbeck and Bucks co-governor. This venture is regarding a tequila brand – a passion that all of them share with MJ.
The quartet launched their own brand of tequila called Cincoro back in September 2019. MJ has long been an aficionado of tequila drinks, and he wished to add a brand to his portfolio.
Jeanie Buss says Michael Jordan is ‘getting hotter every year’
Jeanie Buss made it a point to promote Cincoro while wishing Jordan a happy 58th birthday. The Lakers’ team president posted a picture with her Cincoro co-partners on Twitter this morning.
She posted the following message: “Happy Birthday to my co-founder of Cincoro Tequila, Michael Jordan!! How do you keep getting hotter?”

According to Sorvino, the NBA governors and Cincoro partners have already invested “several million dollars” into the venture. Michael Jordan also contributed to the company by serving as one of the members on the tasting team.
The group of NBA governors and Fazzalari concocted the idea for the brand one night while waiting on a table at a Manhattan pizzeria. The topic of tequila came up, and a lightbulb went off.
Having “tested more than 1,000 different tequilas before deciding on their own blend”, MJ definitely seems to know what he’s getting into.
