“Michael Jordan Was the Most Stylish Guy on the Dream Team!”: Scottie Pippen Complimented His Former Teammate on His Dressing Sense
In 1992, the US Olympic Basketball team made waves. The team dominated the games at Barcelona with their star-studded roster including the likes of Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, and Magic Johnson.
The team was unstoppable and was hence dubbed the Dream Team. Seeing as they were in charge of bringing home the gold for the United States.
They were a talented bunch, to say the least. But, who had the best fashion sense among them? According to Scottie Pippen, it was none other than Air Jordan himself.
Scottie Pippen claims Michael Jordan had the best sense of style on the 1992 US Olympic Dream team
Basketball and fashion are two things that have gone hand-in-hand ever since the 90s. The likes of Dennis Rodman, Allen Iverson, and Russell Westbrook are just a few of the style icons in the sport.
However, the progenitor was undoubtedly Michael Jordan with the Jordan brand. MJ knows fashion and according to his Bulls and Olympic teammate, Scottie Pippen was the most stylish player on the Dream Team.
Pippen revealed the same on the Full-Size Run podcast. The Hall of Famer also commented on Jordan’s decision to hide the Reebok logo, as it was the sponsor of the team at the time.
Jordan is a man who marches to his own tune. He did not bow to anyone and did whatever he wanted to do.
Jordan revolutionized the sneaker game with his brand Air Jordan
Michael Jordan is credited for many things. The man put basketball on the international map, wowed the league with his style of play, and of course revolutionized the sneaker game. How? With the Air Jordan brand. Perhaps the most recognizable and iconic shoe brand in the world, with an annual revenue of $5 billion.
The Jordan Brand just crossed $5 billion in annual revenue for the first time.
That means Michael Jordan made $150M+ from Nike last year alone—or nearly 2x his career NBA earnings.
The part you didn’t know?
Without this man, it would’ve never happened.

There can be no denying just how much the brand has done for basketball, and fashion overall.
