Michael Jordan doesn’t shy away from betting and if it is something he is good at, he will double down. Just ask Jeremy Roenick, who learned the hard way that MJ wins all bets if the odds are even slightly in his favor.

So, throwing it back to the time when Michael was a gambler… err basketball player? Well, at this point we don’t really know. All we know is while he was not busy dominating the NBA, MJ liked to gamble.
From betting on golf to betting with his security guards, there was no stopping Jordan. He would bet against anyone and everyone on anything and everything.
And of course, he wouldn’t really win each time. However, if you gave him even a slight chance for a comeback, he would seize it. Jeremy Roenick once thought he had the upper hand. But of course, Mike had to show him up.
Michael Jordan bet Jeremy Roenick he would win despite being “10 Bud Lights down”
In a video that is circulating around, Roenick, a former Blackhawks star, talks about playing Michael for 18 holes. And while they are having fun, “thousands of Dollars” are on the line.
Jeremy wins a round but Michael doesn’t want to back down and he challenges him once again. Unfortunately for Mike, he will lose again. And what’s more, he is now down a few Bud Lights. Intoxicated, MJ now had to play the Cleveland Cavaliers in an NBA game.
Jeremy Roenick, quite arrogantly so said he’d put the money Micahel lost on the game and claimed that MJ would lose. Of course, that ticked off His Airness and he said, he would drop more than 40 and the Chicago Bulls would win by more than 40.
As per Roenick, Jordan went on to score 52 and the Bulls won by approximately 26 points. Legendary. Iconic. Just listen to the Blackhawks star talk about it.

Jordan once told Charles Barkley to move his putt because he bet $300,000 on a single hole of golf
Of course, this risk appetite is nothing new. MJ beat a team and scored 52 on them while he was 10 beers down. That is quite simply extraordinary. But betting so much money, he is always unfazed.
He once told Charles Barkley to remove his putt because he had put an extraordinary amount of money into a single hole. Barkley had this to say,
“We’d be playing golf with certain people, for a couple of hundred dollars a hole, nothing big, and he’d be playing some guy for $100,000. He’s like, ‘Charles, pick that up.’ I’m like, ‘This putt is for $200.’ He’s like, ‘Pick that up, Charles, get out of my way, you’re in my line.’ I’m like, ‘How much is that putt for?’ He’s like, ‘$300,000.’ I said, ‘Let me get out of your line.’ It was crazy man.”
A gambler and an NBA legend rolled into one, they don’t make them like Michael anymore.
