Joel Embiid continues to prove that he has the best Twitter fingers of any NBA player. His latest tweet targets participants of the All-Star Game.

Embiid has become a larger-than-life figure, both on and off the court, over the past 7 years. He first gained notoriety for his Twitter game before playing a single NBA minute. This he did by tweeting at Rihanna for a prospective date.
At the time, the ‘Umbrella’ hitmaker had asked him to ‘go become an All-Star first’ before asking her out again. Well, Joel didn’t take too long to fulfil that aim, making it to the All-Star Game in his first full season. Embiid also featured in an All-NBA Team that year.
It seems that Embiid has taken his snub from last year’s All-NBA selections very personally. He is playing at a new level this year, and by all accounts, he’s the MVP favorite at the current moment.
Embiid is also a savage guy when talking about his peers, rivals and competitors. He gave us another glimpse of that with his tweet yesterday night.
Joel Embiid calls this year’s All-Star Game ‘Mickey Mouse game’
Embiid and Simmons were unexpected, late absentees for the All-Star Game. Both of them were pulled from the festivities after their barber tested positive – they had to be pulled for contact tracing.
This naturally led to some frustration, which we’ll hear more of in the coming days. But it also meant that the All-Star game would have one more commentator doling out some nice jokes. And we weren’t disappointed one bit by Jojo.
Mickey Mouse All Star Game ha

The Mickey Mouse jokes began when the league announced its plans to finish the 2019-20 season in a bubble at Disney World, Orlando. They’ve gone on unabated ever since, with people attaching the ‘Mickey Mouse ring’ connotation to the Lakers’ championship win.
Embiid’s clever use of this trolling mechanism is par for the course. He’s always in line with the latest trends, and you don’t ever see him blow an opportunity to create a light-hearted moment.
