However, before they got together, before they confessed love on Instagram, and before rumors even started, Larsa wasn’t looking to get with Marcus whatsoever. Instead, as she revealed on the ‘Separation Anxiety’ podcast, she was trying to set the young Jordan up with someone else entirely.

While the couple is very happy with each other, calling their union a controversial one doesn’t quite cut it. After all, Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen aren’t exactly the best of friends anymore. And so, given their recent beef, many were worried this would only worsen all the drama. However, everything seems to be just fine so far.
Larsa Pippen recommended dating Marcus Jordan to all her girlfriends
After all the rumors about these two, it’s easy to think that Marcus and Larsa started with a fling, which slowly evolved into them entering a relationship. However, as Pippen revealed at the 2:02 minute mark of the ‘Separation Anxiety’ podcast, alongside Jordan himself. Here is what she said.
“It’s crazy because I thought you were my homie for a long time. And when I’d talk about you, I’d tell all my girlfriends, ‘You have to date Marcus! Because he is hot, he is smart, he is cute. He’s amazing, and I feel like you guys, like one of my close friends should date him!’
You know I thought really high of you to tell my friends that. Because like, I didn’t want the smoke”
The couple later went on to talk about how neither of them ever pictured a relationship when they’d just met. Someone taking a random picture during lunch kickstarted the weirdest rumors.
It is a bit crazy to think about what would have happened if even one of Larsa Pippen’s friends took up on her offer to date Marcus Jordan. But then again, given the moves Michael Jordan’s son pulled to get with her, something tells us he just wouldn’t have accepted that outcome.
