Pelicans vs Nets Team News
The Brooklyn Nets are the most depleted teaming heading into the restart.
Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are already ruled out for the season and stars like Spencer Dinwiddie, DeAndre Jordan and Taurean Prince haven’t landed in the bubble after having tested positive for the coronavirus.
Wilson Chandler and Nicolas Claxton are also other absentees.
Brooklyn nets available roster– Jarrett Allen, Justin Anderson, Chris Chiozza, Jamal Crawford, Donta Hall, Joe Harris, Tyler Johnson, Rodions Kurucs, Caris Levert, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot, Jeremiah Martin, Dzanan Musa, Garrett Temple, Lance Thomas.
Pelicans will be without rookie sensation Zion Williamson, who had to leave the Bubble due to personal matters. But Zion is expected to return to the Bubble and feature in the restart matches. Although he remains absent for today’s scrimmage match.
New Orleans Pelicans available roster – Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Lonzo Ball, Zylan Cheatham, Derrick Favors, Josh Hart, Jaxson Hayes, Jrue Holiday, Brandon Ingram, Frank Jackson, Nicolo Melli, E’Twaun Moore, Jahlil Okafor, JJ Redick, Sindarius Thornwell, Kenrich Williams.

What to expect from both the teams heading into the restart?
Nets will likely make it into the playoffs but without the firepower of KD and Kyrie Irving, they might not go too far. Joe Harris and Caris LeVert will have to come up with some magic for the Nets, but their season seems to be more or less a formality from here on.
Pelicans will be hopeful of Zion’s return so that he along with the young core of Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball can power through into the 8th and final western conference playoff seat. Pelicans have the best set of “seeding” games matches as compared to any other team.
However, Pelicans would absolutely need Zion to be back for the restart. Today’s scrimmage would be full of offensive action as you can expect players to take it a little light on defense, so as to avoid injuries before the NBA restart.
