NBA Play In Game 8th seed
With the fledgling Grizzlies set to face the Celtics today, it looks like Portland and Spurs might be the two teams fighting for the eight seed.
The Suns have their chances in their own hands and have to win the remaining games and in route becoming the champions of the bubble and maybe, just maybe getting in the ninth seed to be eligible for the play in tournament. They would also need help from other results to go in their favour .

When the bubble started who would have thought that Spurs and Suns would have a higher probability of making the playoffs than the Pelicans.
Pelicans had the Zion factor and the easiest schedule of all the teams yet they failed to show up, which can be attributed to the lack of cohesion and the confusing time restrictions on Zion. Maybe David Griffin and co. chose to focus on the future and not forcing the team to do what many pundits tipped them to do.
Who has the best chance of making the playoffs?
As per the ESPN BPI the Grizzlies have the best odds to make it as the eighth seed followed by Blazers and Phoenix Suns.
But on current form and the personnel present it would be safe to assume it would be a scintillating first round match up between the Lakers and last year’s Western conference finalist’s the Damian Lillard led Portland Trailblazers. However, Laker nation would be hoping it’s the Grizzlies, looking at the current form and how disjointed LeBron and the team has looked.
All in all, it promises to be an action filled next week and with the playoff just two weeks away, expect the team’s not named Clippers , Lakers or Bucks to fine tune their rotations and playbooks.
