“Nets want Andre Drummond”: NBA analysts says that Steve Nash wants to team Cavaliers star up with Kevin Durant and James Harden

An NBA analyst says that the Brooklyn Nets are looking to sign Andre Drummond of the Cleveland Cavaliers in case he gets bought out.

The Brooklyn Nets faced off against the Miami Heat once again last night, and beat them quite handily, sweeping the miniseries 2-0. The Nets posted an unfamiliar score of 98 points and eerily held the Heat to merely 85.

James Harden took over in the 4th scoring 10 straight points while also assisting Joe Harris on the dagger 3 from the left corner.

What was interesting to watch this game was the Nets defense. They held the Heat to an abysmal 4-22 shooting from the field in the fourth quarter. Though this was a good outing defensively, the Nets will look to test out the market for players that can add size and athleticism on the defensive end of the floor.

The Nets look to potentially add Andre Drummond to their roster

Following the Jarrett Allen to the Cavs deal, the Cavaliers now have a plethora of big men on their roster. It would make sense that they would part ways with atleast one of them by the end of the season.

Andre Drummond is someone the Nets have their eyes on at the moment. In a conversation with Andrew Yang, Kevin O’Connor talked about how the Cavs could acquire Drummond going forward.

“People around the league say the Nets are hoping that Andre Drummond gets bought out. That’s unlikely however because Cleveland is still in the Playoff hunt.”

Cleveland currently boasts an 8-8 record and is the 6th seed in the Eastern Conference. They look to make the Playoffs for the first time since LeBron’s departure in 2018.

Andre Drummond has been playing some of the best basketball of his career this season. The fantasy basketball ‘GOAT’ is averaging 18 points and grabbing 14.5 boards per game for Cleveland this season.
