Charles Barkley has never minced his words when it came to breaking down his feelings towards NBA players and games. He recently agreed with Dillon Brooks when he said that LeBron James was old and would later on join in with Shaquille O’Neal on poking fun at Derrick White’s hairline for 2 minutes straight.

So, when it comes to the Minnesota Timberwolves-Denver Nuggets first round Playoff series, it should be expected that Chuck wouldn’t hold back. Prior to the start of the series, the Nuggets were heavily favored and rightfully so as they are the one seed and the T-Wolves are the 8th seed.
However, with the Nuggets up 3 games to zero against the Wolves, Barkley doesn’t seem to find this matchup all too fascinating. Surprisingly, Ernie Johnson was the one who suggested this prior to Barkley.
Charles Barkley n the Wolves-Nuggets matchup
Game 4 between Minnesota Timberwolves and the Denver Nuggets is underway and the Wolves leave the 3rd quarter with a 6-point lead going into the 4th. However, at halftime of this game, Charles Barkley and Ernie Johnson would talk about how this game just didn’t have all too exciting of a feel to it.
Ernie Johnson: “Is it just me or does this game need a Red Bull?”
Charles Barkley: “I was watching hockey on TBS, I’m not gonna lie. This game is boring as hell.”

With the NHL Playoffs going on right now, preferring to watching that over a game between a team that is down 0-3 and is up 3-0 is understandable. On the other hand, it is quite disrespectful for a man being paid to analyse NBA games to openly reveal that he isn’t watching an NBA Playoff game.
Other than Anthony Edwards and Jamal Murray, the players in this series don’t have all too much of an enticing game unfortunately. Wolves-Nuggets can go from a minute of fast-paced action to a slowed down half court game that grinds down to a halt for close to half a quarter.
Charles Barkley gets called out by Shaquille O’Neal for his Draymond Green take
‘Inside the NBA’, despite the first round not even having completed, has already produced a litany of iconic moments this season. One such moment was Shaquille O’Neal and the TNT crew calling out Charles Barkley for his hypocritical take on Draymond Green.
Green was suspended for Game 3 of the Kings-Warriors series after he stomped on Domantas Sabonis’s mid-section in Game 2. Chuck said this was fair and this led to TNT pulling up a video from the 1993 Playoffs where Chuck blatantly kicked Vlade Divac in the chest.
