Prior To Caribbean Vacation, $400,000,000 Worth Shaquille O'Neal Shows Off 'Authentic Brands Group' Office

Shaquille O’Neal has had an illustrious career both on and off the court. But unlike most all-time great players, Shaq hasn’t garnered his riches from just playing basketball. Instead, a lot of it has come from investing smartly too. O’Neal’s portfolio would put most investors’ at shame, as ‘The Diesel’ often scores ‘gold’ with his business ventures. But undoubtedly the crown jewel of Shaq’s portfolio is his partial ownership at ABG( Authentic Brands Group).

ABG and Shaq have a long-running relationship. Back in 2015, when the company acquired O’Neal’s brand, Shaq was offered shares in the company. Ever since then, it has been smooth sailing for both parties, as ABG has now reached a valuation of over $ 12,700,000,000. What is unknown to most is, Shaquille is the second-largest individual shareholder of the company. This partial ownership status is what has boosted Shaq’s net worth past $400,000,000.

Though undoubtedly a profitable investment, Shaq’s reason for joining forces with ABG is unrelated to money. O’Neal wanted to be immortalized in history by being mentioned in the same breath as Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson, and Elvis Presley. It just so happened that ABG had acquired the rights to the above-mentioned stars, and many other popular pop-culture figures. Thus, making it a no-brainer investment for Shaq. Shaq loves his position at the firm so much that he had to show off his office at ABG on Instagram before he left for the Caribbean for his vacation.

To say that Shaq loves his business relationship with ABG would be an understatement. With multiple business ventures, hosting ‘Inside The NBA’, and shooting commercials, O’Neal looks forward to the end of the season for his yearly vacation. But before heading off for his little break in the Caribbean, O’Neal decided to stop by his office at ABG and give everyone a tour of his facility on his Instagram Live.

It’s no wonder that Shaq takes such pride in his position at ABG. After all, the company manages the top names and brands around the world. To have your name managed by a firm that owns Micahel Jackson and Marlyn Monrae’s IP speaks a great deal about one’s success. Take a look at Shaq’s recent Instagram post below to check out his office.

To make the deal even sweeter, Shaq owns a significant share in ABG, which makes him part owner of important Intellectual Properties such as Michael Jackson,  Muhammad Ali, Elvis Presley, and Marilyn Monroe. However, something that’s arguably equally special, is his beautiful relationship with Reebok over the years.

Shaqs fated relationship with Reebok

Shaq and Reebok have had an interesting relationship over the years. Shaq was one of the biggest basketball stars signed to Reebok in the 2000s. Fast forward a measly turn of the century, and Shaq is the one writing cheques for Reebok. With his partial share in ABG, Shaq has now become part owner of Rebook. This is due to ABG’s acquisition of Reebok back in 2022. With Shaq feeling good about his investment in ABG, the relationship between the two doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere anytime soon.
