"Purchasing a ticket doesn't give you the right to do that!": Skip Bayless sides with Russell Westbrook over Sixers fan throwing popcorn at him

Co-host of Undefeated, Skip Bayless shows his displeasure and condemns the actions of the Sixers fan towards Russell Westbrook

The NBA has its own fair share of drama and dispute, but at the end of the day, the league sticks together. Something of the sort happened today when the Wizards were facing the Sixers in Game 2 of their first-round matchup. Russell Westbrook was leaving the court with an injury when a fan threw popcorn at him.

This act has angered everyone in and around the league. The fan was ejected and hopefully would get banned from attending further games.

Skip Bayless wanted Russell Westbrook to have a shot at the fan

In the video, it is clear that Westbrook was agitated by this action of the fan. He has to be held back and restricted from otherwise confronting the fan. Initially, Skip Bayless put out this tweet when the incident had just occurred.

Later, during the post-game presser, Westbrook said that no ticket gives a fan the right to throw food at a player or yell at them. He added by saying that the case would have been different if the person would have taken the same action on the streets. Skip agreed with Russ again and put this tweet out.

At the end of the day, the actions taken by the fan were wrong. No player should ever be treated like that, no matter how heated the matches get.

The Sixers beat the Wizards comfortably and secured a 2-0 lead in the series as they head to Washington next.
