"Russell Westbrook, you're too small": Ben Simmons taunts Wizards star after making light work of him from the post in Game 3 win

Sixers star Ben Simmons mocks Russell Westbrook after dominating him in the post and securing a 3-0 lead in the first-round series

The Philadelphia Sixers are showing us all why they are the #1 team in the East. After a close Game 1, the Sixers have made light work of the Wizards in Games 2 and 3. The Sixers blew out the Wizards 120-95 in Game 2, and tonight was no different. The Sixers, powered by their MVP finalist and DPOY finalist, crushed the Wizards 132-103 tonight. Joel Embiid led the way, scoring 36 points and grabbing 8 rebounds. Tobias Harris continued his consistent performance, scoring 20 points, and grabbing 13 rebounds. Ben Simmons scored 14 points and dished 9 assists.

For the Wizards, Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal tried, but could not change the outcome. Russ finished with a triple-double, scoring 26 points, grabbing 12 rebounds, and dishing 10 assists. Beal scored 25 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.

Ben Simmons mocks Russell Westbrook after getting the better of him in the post

This year hasn’t been particularly good for the Wizards. After a season of struggles and troubles, they made a 17-6 push in the final games and secured a #8 spot. However, the injury troubles haven’t gone away for the Wizards. Russell Westbrook sprained his ankle in Game 2, yet he came to play in Game 3. His game was a little affected, but he seemed to be alright overall.

At around the 8-minute mark in the 2nd Quarter, Ben Simmons found a space to get in the post and hit a jump hook over Westbrook. After hitting the shot, Simmons was seen celebrating in a way that was a taunt at Westbrook.

Maybe when Russ sees the game clip, this would push him to take over in Game 4. However, the Sixers would like to wrap the series in Washington itself, so they can get a breather before heading to the Conference Semi-Finals. We shall get to know what happens as Game 4 is scheduled to take place on Monday.
