Shaq does not want to bring the old controversies with Kobe out to the world once again. The big man said that revisiting old memories could only cause harm.

“My guy (Kobe) is not here, I don’t want no old mess brought up so if they ask me to do it, I’m not gonna do it. Because of course, that’s part of our relationship, that’s of what we did but I don’t want to bring that attention to him.” Shaq said.

“The Last Dance” documentary captured the imagination of the NBA fraternity, with it providing a sneak peek into how life with the Chicago Bulls was.
Michael Jordan and his ways were also highlighted and fans loved seeing what made Michael what he was.

Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant have won three consecutive NBA championship (2000, 2001, 2002) and shared a special bond of togetherness. O”Neal said “I saw my rings the other day, I’ll put ’em on the bank. I don’t wanna wear them ’cause he’s not here to celebrate with me.”
Shaq feels that there is no point going down memory lane, and digging up controversies that could mar the memory of the late Kobe Bryant.
The duo had a great relationship early on, but it soured over course of time, and Shaq wouldn’t want to revisit those bad memories, especially now that his friend is no more with us.
