Shaquille O’Neal Digs Up Brutal 10 Year Old Clip Of Skip Bayless Getting Destroyed By Richard Sherman, 4 Weeks After ‘$200,000,000 Charles Barkley Plea’

The Undisputed shown on FS1 has been put on hold for the past few months after Shannon Sharpe and the company reached an agreement for his contract to be bought out. The co-host of the show – Skip Bayless, has been on the hunt for a debate partner ever since. Fortunately, the search seems to be over, as former NFL player Richard Sherman will take the open spot. Former NBA superstar, Shaquille O’Neal, upon hearing this news, decided to stir the pot by sharing a 10-year-old video of a heated debate between the two.

Just a few months prior, Shaq had requested Skip Bayless to partner with his TNT colleague – Charles Barkley, who recently signed a contract between $100,000,000-$200,000,000. The relationship between Skip and Chuck has been well documented over the years, with the latter openly wanting to beat the former while calling him an idiot on multiple occasions. After one such incident, Skip responded by asking Charles to debate with him, to which Shaq hilariously seemed to approve.

Richard Sherman, a former NFL player who played in the league for eleven years, and widely regarded as one of the greatest cornerbacks of all time, has decided to pursue a career in sports media. He will be seen pairing with Skip Bayless on the FS1 show ‘Undisputed’. However, judging by the video shared by Shaq, it will be interesting to see how the relationship translates on TV.

In 2013, Sherman sounded off on Skip when he was questioned about his achievements. Here is what he said:

“I am at the top of my field. I am an All-Pro. I am the best 22 player in the NFL. I know you are going to brush it off but I don’t think you are the best 22 anything in sports, in media, anything. I think you think more of yourself than you actually can prove. In my 24 years of life, I am better than life at you.”

Admittedly, those were some strong words thrown by Sherman at Skip Bayless. The featured video was part of the show, ‘First Take’ on ESPN from back when Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith were co-hosting it. Of course, today, that may seem like something out of an alternate universe. But back in the day, the two very controversial analysts were, in fact, a team.

Richard Sherman did not hold back on his feelings around the sports analyst, even going as far as to question his entire life. He blatantly called himself better and stated that Skip had achieved nothing in his career, relative to himself.

Shannon Sharpe’s Exit from Undisputed

Skip Bayless is not the friendliest person on TV with his harsh criticism and no-filter opinions. This led to multiple heated debates over the years between himself and Shannon Sharpe.

While one cannot deny the entertainment value he provides, Skip is looking for a new partner for a reason. Eventually, it got too much to handle, and recently, Shannon Sharpe called it quits from the show – ‘Undisputed with Skip and Shannon’. Skip will soon be seen with a new partner as a product of it.

The reasons for the exit could be many, but the following two are believed to be the major causes. His insensitive comments on the Damar Hamlin injury ended with a heated debate on the show, with Shannon visibly frustrated. The other could be Skip’s constant statements about Shannon’s jealousy of Tom Brady in every heated argument.

Sharpe is an all-time great in the NFL. The reason he hung onto the show for so long was likely because he did not need anyone else to affirm it for him. However, any self-respecting individual can only take comments of that nature for so long. The only hope is that Bayless doesn’t make the same mistakes again.
