Shaquille O'Neal Shockingly Swears He Would Sweep Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, And Hakeem Olajuwon in a Series

During his time in the NBA, Shaquille O’Neal was one of the most confident players to ever play. The man’s physique allowed him to bully even the greatest players of his generation into submission.

And of course, given his demeanor, he was only going to humiliate his opponent further.

Fast forward to modern day, and Shaq’s confidence hasn’t changed much at all. In fact, Charles Barkley continues to be one of the many victims of it on a daily basis. And recently, while the Chuckster wasn’t involved, Michael Jordan, Hakeem Olajuwon, and Larry Bird sure were.

Shaquille O’Neal announces a team of Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, and Hakeem Olajuwon would be swept in this scenario

Michael Jordan is the almost unanimous greatest player of all time. Larry Bird was a cold, cold man, and one of the best to ever do it. And of course, Hakeem Olajuwon was arguably the greatest center of all time during his playing days.

If these three were to come together to form a team for a 3v3 basketball event, you’d think this team would be agreed upon by everyone as unbeatable, right?

Well, according to Shaquille O’Neal, that would be the furthest thing possible from the truth.

Take a look at this recent Instagram post below.

A sweep. Not even a contest.

While we don’t think that would be the case in this scenario, perhaps he could be right about the winning part.

Alas, whatever the right answer may be, we will never know.

Larry Bird once gave Shaquille O’Neal some serious motivation before he’d even entered the NBA

Larry Bird, having been as cold as he was, often trash-talked far more than he even spoke normally.

So, if he ever dished out a compliment, it was a sight to behold.

How is that relevant? Well, during one of his college games, Shaq caught Bird’s eye. And well, as Shaq once admitted, the Celtics legend then proceeded to give him a moment of a lifetime.
