Shaquille O’Neal has multiple platforms to give us weekly entertainment using his wits and larger-than-life persona. One of them is the podcast with Nischelle Turner and Spice Adams, The Big Podcast. In its recent episode, Shaq wore a t-shirt that read “You are the father” given to him by one of the most popular American TV hosts, Maury Povic.

One thing you might notice, O’Neal is great at is maintaining friendships. Despite all the rumors of him dating Nischelle and the two being exes, they have tremendous on-camera chemistry, which has brought them plenty of viewers in a short span of time. And they are not going to lose any of them anytime soon if they keep bringing content like this recent one for the O’Neal fan base.

Shaquille O’Neal has mentioned it sporadically that Maury Povic, the father of TV paternity tests, is one of his childhood heroes and most favorite hosts of all time.
Maurice apparently paid a visit to O’Neal at his house recently, as The Big Aristotle described it in the pod as a jaw-dropping experience. After meeting the retired TV legend recently, and getting a t-shirt from him, the Lakers legend looked excited and expressed his desire to be on Maurice’s show.
Which is when they came up with the skit. Nischelle played Povic and said the iconic lines, “**In the matter of so-and-so (it’s a girl) and Shaquille O’Neal**, Shaquille, ‘You’re not the Father’”.
It promoted a hilarious celebratory reaction by The Diesel. Watch it in the following YouTube video by NBA on TNT.
They also played the opposite version of it, with Spice suggesting that if the kid’s name was Shaquille O’Neal Jr and Shaq was his father. O’Neal gave the typical “get the camera off me” reaction to it.
Shaq, in real life, is a great father
O’Neal might have struggled to keep up his relationship with his ex-wife Shaunie Henderson, but he has never been in a situation where he’d need a paternity test.
In fact, he has been the opposite of it. The $400 million worth man has raised Myles B. O’Neal like the rest of his 5 kids, if not better.
Myles is Shaunie’s son from her previous marriage who grew up with his siblings, Shareef, Me’arah, Amirah, and Taahirah (Shaq’s daughter from his previous relationship).
All of his children are working towards having their own individual life to get out of the shadow of their father. Myles, being the perfect example of it, is already a self-made millionaire through his fashion and DJing career.
