The Phoenix Suns defeated the LA Clippers 4-2 in the conference finals at the Staples Center. Thus making their first NBA Finals appearance since 1993.
The western conference champions have had a phenomenal season, followed by a great playoff run. The addition of coach Monty Williams and veteran guard Chris Paul has seen the Arizona team achieve new heights.
This marks Chris Paul’s first appearance in the NBA finals. The former Clippers star tied his playoff-high with a 41-point performance in Game six. Paul shot a remarkable 66.7% from the field and 87.1% from beyond the arc.
However, despite these great performances, NBA analyst Skip Bayless has rather been critical of the 11x NBA All-Star. Bayless has in the past as well been vocal about his opinion regarding Paul, even going on to address him as overrated.
During Game six of the conference finals, Bayless addressed Paul as an all-time flop artist, to which former Suns small forward Eddie Johnson had a hilarious response.
Skip Bayless has been relatively critical of Chris Paul during his 16-year NBA career
The undisputed analyst was recently called out by former Suns small forward Eddie Johnson following his tweet calling Chris Paul an all-time flop artist.
Johnson, who won 6th man of the year during his stint with Suns, was quick to respond to Skip’s tweet calling him an all-time water boy. The veteran even took a dig at the Undisputed analyst’s high-school basketball career.
And you are an All-Time Water Boy. What did he average Jalen Rose? 1.5 points in High School.

This is not the first time that Bayless has been critical of Chris Paul. In the past as well the analyst has been stated, calling CP3 the dirtiest player ever during his altercation with Rajan Rondo in 2018.
Bayless has even addressed Chris Paul as overrated and CP0 as he has never won a championship in his career. Bayless had in the past stated that Paul would be remembered more for his state farm commercials rather than his NBA career.
During a recent episode of Undisputed Bayless was quoted saying, “I don’t yet have Chris Paul in my Top 15 All-Time point guards because he hasn’t closed a deal. I’ve jokingly called him CP0 because he has zero rings.”
However, Bayless seems to have changed his mind recently post Suns advancing to the 2021 NBA Finals. The analyst was all praise for the Suns’ star, who had a spectacular performance in Game six.
