“Sorry, Not Sorry”: Trae Young Fires Backhanded Compliment to Janet Jackson After Snatching State Farm Arena Booking for Game 6
There is nothing like winning crucial playoff games for your team. And nothing better than doing it in front of the opponents. For someone who has been portrayed as the villain, Trae Young enjoys tormenting opponents in their homes. He forced a game 6 against the Boston Celtics and Twitter has been on outrage since.
But the real story of the night was when people found out that State Farm Arena was double-booked. Yes, the home of the Atlanta Hawks was not free for the upcoming game 6. It would seem that the team or rather, the organization, had little faith in themselves.
And so, arenas being public venues were available for booking. Turns out that Janet Jackson, who is on her “Together Again” tour booked the arena for Friday night. But, plans are about to change. And Trae Young does not care.
“Sorry, Not Sorry”: Trae Young Fires Backhanded Compliment To Janet Jackson, Says He is a Big Fan But She Can Watch The Game
Trae took to Twitter to declare that he doesn’t care. But very subtly. Just take a look at this Tweet. Trae wrote, “Sorry not sorry to this LEGEND.. Hope she can be at the game now!”.

We think this is more of Trae shooing Janet out of the arena. Of course, the arena will likely host the playoffs and the concert date or venue will change.
But for the young point guard to call out a legend like Janet in such a manner just shows how aggressive he can be. No disregard and a backhanded compliment.
At least someone in the Hawks organization is putting their money where their mouth is.
The Celtics are facing a revitalized Hawks side.
Nobody would have expected the Hawks to even win a game against the Boston Celtics. They have been formidable throughout the season and yet they have now lost two games.
Thanks to Trae’s heroics, the Hawks have a chance to force a game 7. They will need the support of their home crowd and for their superstar point guard to be at his scintillating best.
As for Janet Jackson, we are sure she will be given courtesy tickets from the Hawks. And hey, who knows, maybe she might even show up courtside!
