Stephen Curry Shoes: Warriors Star Breaks Out Curry 1 “Mother’s Day” As Tribute to Sonya and Ayesha Curry in Game 6 vs Lakers

The Golden State Warriors are back in Los Angeles for a Win-or-Go-Home Game 6. Facing elimination at home in Game 5, Stephen Curry and the Warriors held on defend their home court. Back in Los Angeles, the Warriors are fighting to keep their season alive and force a Game 7. Facing the challenge, Curry decided to take this time to honor his mother, Sonya Curry, and wife, Ayesha Curry, with new Curry 1s PEs.

One of the biggest strengths in Steph’s life has been his family. They’re always there to support him, whether it’s from the arena, or at home. So far these playoffs, we’ve seen Ayesha Curry, Dell Curry, and Sonya Curry show up for games.

He’s always shown his appreciation for the same, and tonight, with Mother’s Day right around the corner, Steph broke out a new PE for his Curry 1 Low FloTros.

Stephen Curry honors Sonya Curry and Ayesha Curry with Mother’s Day shoes

Stephen Curry has always been a player who finds ways to represent things close to his heart, even when he’s on the court. Recently, we saw him break out the ‘Butterfly and Unicorn‘ Curry 10s for his daughters Riley and Ryan. We then recently saw him break out the Curry 10s ‘Met Gala’ as a way to remember his iconic 2021 Met Gala outfit with Ayesha Curry.

With Mother’s Day around the corner, Steph decided to honor two of the most important women in his life: Ayesha Curry and Sonya Curry. He broke out a new PE version of his Curry 1 Low FloTros.

The Warriors, if they can force a Game 7, will play on Sunday, i.e, Mother’s Day. If that does happen, we can expect Curry to bring these back out at Chase Center.
