NBA Twitter goes crazy after ESPY declare Golden State superstar Stephen Curry as the 2021 Best NBA Player.

Even though the Golden State Warriors didn’t have quite the season they hoped for, their leader – Stephen Curry had the best campaign of his 12-year career. Chef Curry appeared in his 7th All-Star game cliched his second scoring title this season. After putting up a league-best 32 points, to go along with 5.8 assists and 5.5 rebounds per game, Steph was one of the three MVP finalists and was even selected in the All-NBA first team.

Over the course of his illustrious career, The Baby Faced Assassin has racked up quite the resume. He has 7 All-Star appearances, 7 All-NBA selections, 3 championships, 2 MVPs and now won his second-ever ESPY’s Best NBA Player.

Even though Nikola Jokic was rightfully given the 2020-2021 MVP honours, it was the 6-foot-3 Warriors leader who won the Best NBA Player award over the likes of Luka Doncic, Chris Paul and Nikola Jokic.

NBA fans react to Stephen Curry winning ESPY’s Best NBA Player

Due to his participation in a celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, Stephen Curry wasn’t able to attend the ESPY Awards in New York. However, there was a prerecorded video of Curry thanking everyone for voting him for this prestigious honour he just won.

As soon as Curry was announced as the 2021 ESPY NBA Best Player, fans went crazy on Twitter.
