Bronny James announced yesterday night that he will be signing with Faze Clan, LeBron defends his son’s decision.

LeBron James’s eldest son announced on Sunday that he will be signing with the 22 time Esports Champions, Faze Clan.

The 15 year old gained notoriety for streaming himself playing NBA2K on the streaming platform, Twitch. This garnered attention from the pro Esports organization, prompting them to sign Bronny.

Bronny’s streams usually end in hilarity as his Twitch subs donate money and attach controversial, yet comedic messages to the donations.

Bronny receives backlash for his decision to sign with Faze Clan

As with everything the self proclaimed ‘James Gang’ does, Bronny was met with countless hateful comments on his Instagram, directed towards his decision to join Faze Clan.

Many of the comments say that he is quote, “undeserving of being a member of Faze,” and that the only reason he was able to join the clan was because he is LeBron James’s son.

The main reason as to why Bronny was only allowed to join Instagram midway through 2019, was because LeBron wanted to protect his son from ‘online trolls’ like the ones that are commenting under Bronny’s Instagram pictures.

LeBron James and Bronny ‘clapback’ at the hateful comments

It’s no secret that LeBron and his son Bronny have a very tight-knit bond. LeBron is seen at Bronny’s high school games regularly along with his wife Savannah, cheering his team on from the sidelines.

So it was no surprise when LeBron James stood up for his son on Instagram, reposting a now deleted story Bronny put up on his Instagram.

The story indicates that Lebron and Bronny will not be wavering from their ultimate goal, that is getting Bronny into the NBA.
