Dwight Howard mocks Nikola Jokic

Lakers’ big Dwight Howard mocked Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets coaching staff during Game 2 win in the Western conference finals.

Anthony Davis’ final shot ruined all of Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets’ hard work to make a comeback in the 4th quarter and take an edge over the Lakers.

The Lakers held a nice 10-point lead at the half. The Nuggets started chipping at it and reduced it to 4 by the end of the 3rd. Nikola Jokic scored the last 12 points for the Nuggets as they managed to get a lead in the 4th. Anthony Davis hit his KOBE miracle shot and secured the W for the Lakers.

While the entire Lakers lineup was celebrating post the miraculous shot by AD, Dwight Howard broke off the celebrations to mouth off the Nuggets.

“Go Home,” Dwight Howard tells the Nuggets to make their way back

Post the win, Dwight made sure that the Nuggets know what he had to say. While everyone else was celebrating the win, Howard went in front of the Nuggets’ bench and yelled “Go Home”.

A few Nuggets staff, including Jokic’s strength and conditioning coach Felipe Eichenberger, did not take kindly to the mocking. The two sides exchanged words but eventually retreated to their corners.

Dwight Howard wasn’t the only one with a message. Markieff Morris stomped at mid-court like he was squashing a bug, post the spat.

Howard and McGee mock Jokic while he guarded Davis

Late in the first quarter, once Davis went near the Lakers’ bench and Jokic came to guard him, Howard and McGee started mocking him. They started screaming, ‘Thanksgiving, steak dinner, appetizers, filet mignon and potatoes, a glass of champagne!’”

This came as an attempt to throw Jokic off his game.
