Daryl Morey has made a name for himself as an incredible GM, and it looks like he also has some great Twitter banter up his sleeve too.

After a disappointing season in which the Philadelphia 76ers were eliminated in the second round of the playoffs despite finishing with the first seed in the East.
Many were quick to fault the Sixers claiming that their whole ‘Process’ had gone wrong and was a disastrous failure. Keith Pompey was one of these people, Tweeting this out:

Well, Daryl Morey had the perfect response to him, going back to the old days of Bryan Colangelo and his old Twitter burner accounts.

Daryl Morey isn’t going to take too kindly to anybody who hates on his team, whether he was there for one year or 10 years. His response to the Keith Pompey?
That is a normal procedure. Move on, find a new slant.

Does that quote ring a bell to you? If it doesn’t, let’s take a walk back down memory lane. Back in 2018, then 76ers president Bryan Colangelo resigned from his job as the 76ers president as his wife revealed that the duo had formed burner accounts which criticized their players, revealed sensitive information, and even took shots at team executives.
When this whole situation was going down, several people on Twitter were taking shots at Bryan Colangelo and making fun of him.
From Tweets about organizational matters to a discussion about Colangelo’s collar sizes. An ‘anonymous source’ with the handle Enoughunkownsources replied to this Tweet saying “That is a normal collar. Move on, find a new slant.”
Sources were good enough to guess that this was one of Colangelo’s burners which makes Morey’s Tweet all the funnier.
