Wanting To Cement Michael Jordan And LeBron James As ‘1A, 1B’, Former Lakers Star Claims ‘The King’ Might Have A Better Career
LeBron James and Michael Jordan have long been compared to one another for years on the end, for the GOAT title. Several players from both past and current generations often give their opinions, choosing either of the two legends as their GOAT. Following that same trend, in a recent Run Your Race podcast appearance, Danny Green confessed that LeBron James might have a better career than Jordan.
To justify his statement, Green had a solid argument to back. LeBron James’ former Lakers teammate suggested that many players of the current generation never watched MJ eclipsed in his Prime. Hence, watching VHS recordings often made them choose Jordan. However, the ones now witnessing LBJ’s stellar career have seen him break every possible record in the league’s history.
Danny Green claims LeBron James’ career is better than Michael Jordan’s
Danny Green coyly chose LeBron James as his pick for the GOAT debate without diminishing Michael Jordan’s greatness. However, to come to this conclusion, Green had a solid argument.
As per the current Philadelphia 76ers player, the new generation of players have only witnessed MJ’s career highlights through VHS tapes. No one other than Michael Jordan could convince Green to pick MJ in his GOAT debate. However, having witnessed LeBron James’ rise, it’s pertinent to affirm James for having a better career.
“A lot of guys didn’t get a chance to watch him (Michael Jordan) play. That’s why it’s hard for me to have any debate with anybody else other than Mike as being the goat…Now you can talk about Bron’s career, he might have the better career.”
Who’s your goat? 🐐

Green also argues both LBJ and MJ are like exhibit 1A and 1Bs, representing their respective generation of greatest players from the league. Putting them in either era, MJ and James would likely achieve greatness. However, while pondering this thought, Green claimed that LeBron James still had a better career.
Dwyane Wade snubbed LeBron James to pick Michael Jordan as his GOAT
Throughout the Miami Heat’s BIG 3 era, we have always noted Dwyane Wade backing his best buddy LeBron James. But when it came to the GOAT debate, D-Wade unfortunately snubbed his 2x championship run team-mate in favor of the Chicago Bulls legend, Michael Jordan.
For Wade, it is quite obvious for him to pick Jordan. The 3x NBA champion grew up in Chicago, which was evidently the place where he fell in love with Jordan. D-Wade was firm on his stance to back MJ in the GOAT debate, claiming to remain a Jordan loyal till the day he passes away.
