Charles Barkley is right up there with Shaquille O’Neal on why Inside the NBA is so much fun to watch. At the end of the day, sure the basketball analysis is fine and dandy. But, the number of shows like that on TV right now can’t possibly be counted. So, with that in mind of course, watching 4 old people do hilarious shenanigans like they’re children again, is beyond entertaining.

On the show, they like to do all kinds of things. Sometimes about a billion donuts are brought out for every member of the panel, and other times, the crew is playing with very literal water guns on air. Really, there is no end to it.

But inarguably the most well-known shenanigan they pull consistently, is, of course, the race to the board. Over the years, Kenny Smith has raced against many competitors, with the Chuckster being his biggest rival… in more ways than one.

Of course, due to his size, Barkley was never once considered the favorite. Add that to the fact that Smith is still a rather healthy man, and you have almost no chance of Chuck winning this one. And yet, something happened recently. And it’s something you’re definitely going to want to see.

Charles Barkley may still be a bit heavy-set. However, he isn’t even close to how unfit he used to be. You see, a few years ago, the man decided to do something for his own health. After all, he was at the stage where he couldn’t just eat anything, otherwise, his quality of life would be severely affected.

That said, the man is now fitter than he has been in years, something that did not fail to show itself when he challenged Kenny for his crown. And what happened next was akin to seeing your wildest fantasies come true. Take a look in the clip in the tweet below.

Yes, Charles Barkley has indeed beaten Kenny Smith before. However, it was never once so satisfying. During those other times, it was because Kenny slipped up, or something else entirely. However, this time, the race was fair and square. And the Chuckster came out victorious… are we the only ones crying?
