WATCH: Jamal Murray Humiliates Kevin Durant With All His Sauce During Massive Game 1 Win Over the Phoenix Suns
Jamal Murray is back like he never left. Insane pull-ups, clutch shots, and all the attitude in the world to go along with it. Nikola Jokic may be the best player on this franchise, but Murray is just as important because when the going gets tough, he somehow gets tougher. And during the 4th quarter of game 1 between the Phoenix Suns and the Denver Nuggets, Kevin Durant found that out the hard way. In fact, the man probably had to clean quite a bit of sauce off his jersey as a consequence.
Jamal Murray just can’t stop saucing on people
Jamal Murray doing people’s heads (and ankles) in with his talent at the sport of basketball is hardly something new. Of course, he had this insane layup on LeBron James during the Orlando Bubble in 2020. Take a look at the YouTube clip posted by MLG Highlights below.
Since then, of course, Murray suffered a debilitating ACL injury that kept him off the court for the majority of 2 years. Yet, it seems to be showing no effect whatsoever, as this man continues to run rampant in this game 1. The first big victim was Landry Shamet, as Rob Perez shows in his tweet right here.

And then, as if he wanted to teach the biggest dog on the Phoenix Suns a lesson, he took Kevin Durant on. But, he didn’t just decide to dunk on him or anything like that. Instead, he hit him with a layup so smooth, that pretty white jersey of Durant’s is probably now barbecue sauce colored. Take a look at yet another Rob Perez tweet below.

Here is a better angle of the insane layup Jamal Murray made on Kevin Durant. Watch the clip in the tweet by hoops bot below.

At the time of writing, Jamal Murray and Denver Nuggets have absolutely dominated the Phoenix Suns, despite being the heavy underdogs in this series. With this incredible win, they have sent a scary message to their opponents. They haven’t come to be scared. No, they are the predators, and the little superteam in front of them better run.
