WATCH: LeBron James Channels Vintage 2016 Self, Hits Desmond Bane With CHASEDOWN Block

The Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Memphis Grizzlies tonight. The young team from Memphis is coming in red-hot, riding on an 11-game win streak. On the other hand, LeBron James and the Lakers have lost four of their last five games.

The Grizzles are in town for the first of their three matchups this season. After what happened the last year, fans were very excited about tonight’s game. So far, the teams haven’t disappointed the fans. It has been a close game all night long, and we even had a nice quarrel at the halftime mark.

Just before this, we had a great sight from the King himself.

LeBron James chased down Desmond Bane for a block!

Playing the Grizzlies, LeBron James decided to bring his A-Game. Early in the 2nd quarter, Bron hit Desmond Bane with a chase-down block.

It was a vintage LeBron chase-down block, which reminded the fans of his iconic block in Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals.

It is inspiring to see LBJ, who recently turned 38, still play at such a high level consistently. The fans felt like Bron turned back the clock as they reacted to the play.

Can Bron lead the Lakers to the Playoffs?

Playing his 20th NBA season, LeBron James is averaging 29.8 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 7 assists a game. Ever since he’s turned 38, Bron has turned it up a notch as well. Currently, the Lakers have a 20-25 record for the season, good for the 13th spot in the West.

One good sign for the Lakers is that they’re just 2.5 games away from the 6th-seeded Warriors. With news that Anthony Davis might return next week, the Lakers can string together a run and have a chance at securing a playoff, or rather, a play-in spot. However, the entire pressure can’t just be on Bron and AD. The others need to step up as well.
