His unbound success from the 80s and 90s lives to this day. He is still a fan favorite and his popularity is undeniable. The prank show Punk’d took advantage of this popularity and pranked Johnson to the point where he was ready to call the police.
Magic Johnson was Punk’d with the help of his son Andre Johnson
The video starts with Johnson stuffing some fries in his face as his son and some other acquaintances are also sitting at the same table. While Johnson is enjoying his fries with quite some passion, and a woman walks in. As soon as Magic’s son Andre sees her, he turns towards his father and confesses that he hooked up with her at the club.
Magic, being the charming kind man he is, tells his son he shouldn’t do that to people. But Andre ignores his advice and then goes on to continue his story. Andre claims that the woman then got clingy. He then gets up and leaves to go to the restroom.
The ‘alleged’ woman then walks up to Magic Johnson, introduces herself, and complains to Johnson about Andre. Magic invites her to sit on his son’s team. She then alleges that he lied to her about being on a trip. Johnson tried to protect his son. However, once Andre returns, things turn sour.
She starts to cry and then the waitress intervenes and also calls out Andre. The video then shows Andre’s ‘booty call’ scratching Magic’s car with keys. The entire thing quickly escalates from there until it is revealed that Andre was an accomplice in getting Magic Johnson Punk’d.
Magic is a charming man
Throughout the video, Magic never lost his composure. Not once. Instead, he remained calm and composed and avoided getting overtly angry.
This only proves just how well-behaved and charming Magic Johnson is. When he was an NBA player, the entire league acknowledged him as the most charming man in the league. Fortunately, he has kept that habit alive till now.
