NBA Twitter eviscerated LeBron James for saying he needed to ‘go home and stay double fisted’ to stop missing free throws.

In a blowout win over the Mavs on Christmas Day, LeBron didn’t need to be at his best. His big men bore the brunt of the scoring as AD and Montrezl Harrell combined to score 50 points on great efficiency. The Lakers romped to a 138-115 win and LeBron only played 31 minutes on the night.
But in those 31 minutes, James showed us all the highs and lows of his game. He hit a beautiful fadeaway one-legged jumper over Luka, a shot he takes great pride in. But he also managed to airball a free throw and shoot a one-legged floater on a 3-pointer that was woefully off.

Fans troll LeBron James for comments on missed free throw
Following the game, James had some strange comments to make as his explanation for missing his free throws:
“I’m going to go home and be double fisted so that I don’t airball free throws.”

Terrible free throw shooter for his career. Two part shots are really difficult and it should have been changed 20 years ago.
