Grizzlies’ star JA Morant cannot believe that Team USA lost its second straight exhibition game, first against Nigeria and now Australia

When it comes to basketball, the one country that holds the unsaid edge over everyone else is the USA. Being the ‘home of basketball’, the USA takes pride in the multiple greats it has produced. There have been many greats of the game, including Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and many more, who called the USA their home.
Therefore, when someone checks the last two Team USA matches, they get a bit shocked. Team USA lost an exhibition game to Nigeria earlier this week, and now they lost one to Australia. Even though they are just exhibition games, it still comes as a shock, considering the Team USA roster. In a recent statistic, it shows how these two losses combine all the losses since NBA players were allowed to compete in FIBA events.
Professionals started playing for Team USA in 1992:

JA Morant could not believe that Team USA lost to Australia
If someone looks at the Team USA roster and pits them against any of the 30 teams in the NBA, Team USA holds an edge. It is probably why everyone is shocked by the two consecutive losses. While the game was going on, Ja Morant might have had a glance at the scoreboard, and he was as surprised as the rest of us. He made a tweet, which read,
what’s going on wit team usa 👀 wasn’t watching

Later, when the final result was published in a tweet, Morant quote that with a woozy emote.

These still are just the exhibition games, and the key focus obviously would be to make the team gel together. There is no need to overreact to them just yet. Team USA has three more exhibition games left before they make their way to Tokyo for the Olympics.
