Paris St Germain was in no mood to forgive the Scottish champions Celtic on Wednesday night after Celtic took the lead in the opening minute of the game. Moussa Dembele opened the scoring for the Scottish champions in the 1st minute of the game, after he struck the ball sweetly from a wayward corner.

What transcribed after that was just mesmerising, the Parisians who went down 1-0 came right back into the game in the ninth minute, with Neymar scoring the equaliser before he scored once again to give the French champions a well-deserved lead on the night. Strike partners Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbbape scored two goals together to leave the Parisians 4-1 up at halftime.

Strikes from Marco Verrati, Kylian Mbbape and Dani Alves helped the French side to a 7-1 victory at home, to a total of 24 goals in the group stage- most by a team in the group stage. Neymar continued to shine bright during the entire course of the game, justifying his big-money signing for the Ligue 1 side.

Striker struggled with the Press conference:

However, the striker struggled to get through the press conference, as the reporters asked him pretty strange questions. A journalist even went on to compare the 7-1 humiliation of Celtic to Germany’s victory over Brazil.

Neymar responded: “There you go again, remembering that day. This is just going to go on and on, you’ll never stop. I’m happy with tonight’s game and getting a win and that’s the most important thing, independently of the result. The team imposed a strong rhythm right after scoring the first goal. We kept our head even after Celtic pulled a goal back”.

Potential move away to Real Madrid:

Finally, the 25-year-old Brazilian was asked about his potential move away to Real Madrid. According to the Spanish outlet AS, the striker replied: “For f**k’s sake, have you got nothing else to talk about?” showing that he is human after all.
