Neymar: PSG Star 'agrees' to rejoin Barcelona | Barcelona Transfer News

Neymar has an agreement with Barcelona to sign for them in the summer window.

Neymar has a verbal agreement with Barcelona for a summer transfer window move away from PSG. The Brazilian has been linked with a move away from Paris, making his former club as the first choice.

There was news about Philippe Coutinho going in the other way, but the situation is unclear as of now. The Blaugrana will try their maximum to land the 27-year-old, who looks determined to secure a move, despite the French club’s reluctance to sell him.

According to Sport, Neymar has verbally agreed to a contract with Barcelona without any hesitation. The 27-year-old, who currently earns €36 million per year at Paris – will take a pay cut which will drop down to €24 million.

Additionally, the Spanish side have placed another two conditions if he were to move to Nou Camp. The club has told him to drop the lawsuit against the alleged unpaid bonus from Barcelona and make a public statement about his desire to move back to Nou Camp.

It is also told that the Brazilian has not completely ruled out a move to Real Madrid – but only if he is told that a return to Barcelona is not possible this summer.

Earlier, there were reports about a swap deal for Paul Pogba and Neymar, but it was turned down by the Red Devils. The English side is coy in keeping their midfielder at Old Trafford in order to satisfy Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s terms. Since the record Premier League Champions regard discipline as the main factor, any deal for Neymar is not encouraged.

In recent week, PSG president sounded a warning to his players about superstar behaviours. It is alleged that both Kylian Mbappe and Neymar are wanting to leave the club.

Here’s how Twitter has reacted..

What’s next?

If Barcelona cross the hurdle by agreeing on terms with PSG, there is a high possibility of seeing Neymar return to Nou Camp.
