We all are well aware of the recent tragedy the Mexico City faced, when a phantom earthquake of 7.1 magnitude hit them hard.

It has been a difficult few days from the Mexicans as the count of people who lost their lives totaled up to 326 and as per the reports there are still 40 people who are yet to be found.

Meanwhile, the world came together to raise fund to bring the city of Mexico back on to its feet. Celebrities world-wide came together to help for the same. Amid the people who lost their lives was an innocent kid, Santiago who happened to be a huge football fanatic and worshiped Real Madrid’s star striker, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo, after Santiago’s family reached out to him, took to social media platform to send his condolences to the family of the lost with a message. The uploaded photo of himself with a Real Madrid Jersey said, “To my number one fan, Santiago.”

And captioned it “In this moment of pain, I send a huge hug to Santiago’s family and to all the families who have lost their loved ones.”

However another story involving Ronaldo had gained popularity, when the Spanish writer, Fernando Schwartz of Fox Star reported that the Striker had contacted Javier Hernandez and discussed about donation of one million euro that Ronaldo made for the Mexicans since Chicharito played for Real too when he was loaned to them by Manchester United.

However, the story was counterfeit when the West Ham United striker quoted the reported tweet saying nothing like that happened. The Mexican striker himself has helped with raising funds for his home city but never spoke to ex-teammate regarding the best ways of donation.
