Not long ago, Adidas took a drastic measure after Kanye West’s anti-Semitic rant left the world enraged. The German sportswear giant cut one of its most profitable ties with the rapper which led them to having an inventory full of Yeezy shoes estimated to be worth up to $1,300,000,000.

A year later, Adidas found a humanitarian solution to put the profit to good use, thanks to New England Patriots Owner Robert Kraft. When Adidas was looking to just clear out the leftover Yeezys, Kraft, being the savior that he is, helped the renowned brand in unloading the profit made from the sale of shoes on charitable organizations that aim at fighting the evil of antisemitism.
Robert Kraft Helping Adidas Donate Yeezy Profit To A Good Cause
Before selling out the leftover Yeezy inventory, Adidas made it clear that they do not expect to keep the profit made from the sale. Since it is the product of their partnership with Kanye West. This is why the company decided to donate the profit to fiver charitable organizations including Kraft’s Foundation to Combat Antisemitism. This move is a fantastic response to the rapper’s anti-Semitic rant which caused a massive stir last year.

Other organizations on the list include the Anti-Defamation League and the Philonise & Keeta Floyd Institute for Social Change. To sum it up, the money earned from the sale of Yeezys will be donated to a good cause and to raise awareness. However, it is not yet revealed how much will be donated to each of the organizations.
Adidas is ready to roll out the second batch of Yeezys after a successful sale of the first batch in June. This time, the Yeezys will be imprinted with blue square pins. The pin is a symbol created by Robert Kraft’s foundation and has been worn by renowned celebrities like Tom Brady, Mike Tyson and Dave Matthews.
Adidas Moving On From Kanye West
Adidas has well and truly moved on from Kanye West’s partnership. A partnership that once broke the market with record sales and massive profit. Adidas even eclipsed $1 billion in sales by 2019 which in turn skyrocketed Kanye West’s net worth, making him a billionaire.
But the reverse happened post Kanye West’s anti-Semitic comments which snatched away his billionaire status. A year later, Adidas is making it clear that they cannot tolerate this by donating the Yeezy profit to Robert Kraft’s Foundation to Combat Antisemitism campaign.
