Both sisters then went on to call him resilient and brave before adorably saying, “we love you” in unison. At the end of the video, Chris thanked his sisters for their unwavering support.
Why did the Pats select the Oregon CB?
On Thursday night, the New England Patriots selected Christian Gonzalez at No. 17 overall. They gained him after moving him down three spots in a trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The four-star recruit out of The Colony High School transferred from Colorado to Oregon after starting all 18 games for the Buffaloes since his freshman year. He received a lot of praise in all 12 games for the Ducks last fall. He concluded the year 2022 with 50 tackles, 11 passes defended, and his first four collegiate interceptions. The return yards for the interceptions totaled 118. On special teams, California was added, and a field goal attempt was blocked.

Gonzalez exerted pressure while working the boundary and spelling in the slot. He has a distinct dimension to battle top-tier AFC wide receivers with a long 6-foot-1, 197 pounds, and 32-inch arms. It will be interesting to see how he performs for his new team.
