Carson Wentz Reveals His Story of Endurance and Self-Belief
The New York Jets have resorted to a disapproving stance as Carson Wentz mentioned his interest to join them. However, his story shows that he chose to remain unfazed by rejections even in the past. Talking about the same on ‘The Pure Athlete Podcast’, a few days ago, Carson said,
“I had so many people tell me, when I told them I wanted to play professional football. They would laugh at me like ‘Hey you’re from North Dakota, that doesn’t happen’, ‘You’re 5-8’.
Wentz went on to add that he chose a positive mindset over being disheartened by other’s opinions. His strength and belief in himself led him to be one of the known names in the NFL landscape. “I had so many of those negativities when that coach told me. But like do heck with everybody else, I’m gonna keep going, I’m gonna believe in myself,” said the QB.

Matt Ryan is a notable figure who led the Atlanta Falcons to the 2016 Super Bowl appearance and spent the 2022 season with the Indianapolis Colts. He currently serves as an NFL analyst at CBS Sports but hasn’t retired officially. As it turns out, Wentz and Ryan have faced their share of pessimism and hurdles in the NFL.
However, their current positions made them befitting for the Jets quarterback position. The reasons behind the rejection by the New York Jets remain an area still to hit the light of day. In such a scenario, fans have no choice but to hold on to their curiosity before the Jets provide more clarification.
