It seems like Tom Brady brought back more than just good memories from his trip to Munich back in November. He has also brought back a bag of dirty moves, one of which he used in the wildcard game against the Dallas Cowboys. Brady looks to have found an affinity for soccer tackles, judging by his apparent use of a sliding tackle to try and bring down a Cowboys’ player.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been a disappointment all game long. Their offense at times was unable to even hold on to the ball. Even the legendary TB12, famed for his ability to come in clutch for his team when needed, was unable to perform to the best of his abilities. Maybe the frustration from all those added up got to his head, as he tried a dangerous and illegal move to break up a Cowboys’ play.
The scene starts with a fumble from the Bucs offense. As Cowboys’ Malik Hooker tried to run with the ball, a camera caught the Bucs’ QB sliding in from behind, cleats up, attempting to trip up Hooker. Fortunately for Brady, he made little to no contact with Hooker, who instead got slammed to the ground by another Bucs player. If he did make contact, it could have been at least a 10-yard penalty, if not a straight ejection from the game.
NFL Fans shocked and angry at Tom Brady sliding into a Cowboys player
For those not used to sliding tackles, this is definitely a surprise. To see one of the greatest players in the NFL using such a dangerous move on his opponents understandably did not go down well with the community. Naturally, fans are not amused at his antics, and his decision to mix soccer tackles with the NFL game.

The Bucs, and Tom Brady in particular, have had a disastrous game, but many expected it to go this way. The Bucs had absolutely no answer for the onslaught they faced from the Cowboys. In fact, the game was already lost by the end of the first half. Not just the points, but the stark difference in performance from both teams. The Cowboys thoroughly outclassed their opponents, and fully deserved the win.
For Tom Brady, this season in its entirety has been a disaster. At a time when many speculate this to be his final year with the Bucs, he would have ideally wanted to leave them with something more than just a wildcard round drubbing to remember him by. Will he stay with the Bucs for another year? Or is this goodbye?
