UFC Middleweight Julian Marquez was victorious in the ring this Saturday at UFC Fight Night. And was victorious off of it as well. The MMA fighter challenged the Chiefs stars to a badminton or pickleball match and all 3 humorously accepted it.

After defeating Sam Alvey with a second-round submission during Saturday’s UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas, Marquez used his postfight interview — which fighters normally use to call out other fighters — to challenge athletes from a different sport.

Julian Marquez calls out the Chiefs star triplet.

“I am the entertainment you paid to see, but ABC gave it to you for free,” Marquez said after the fight on ABC. “So now I have a callout to give out to everyone from Kansas City. You guys know I’m the baddest man from Kansas City. The baddest middleweight in Missouri and this is one thing — it’s my time right now.”

“So Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, I challenge you guys to a badminton or pickleball competition straight up, if you guys want to see who the pound-for-pound champ is in Kansas City. This magnificent beard tops all of what you guys have to bring.”

The funny challenge drew the eyes of everyone including the Mahomes, Hill and Kelce. And they all replied back with equal enthusiasm.

Julian Marquez has always been good at callouts outside the UFC world.

Marquez is not the most famous of UFC fighter but his outside-octagon banter is going down for the ages. He got Miley Cyrus’ attention on Valentine’s Day after he asked her if she would be his Valentine. Miley Cyrus and Marquez had a comical exchange on twitter.

Marquez may still have a lot to prove in the octagon, but his wits outside of it are hilarious hopefully, this game will actually go through and we’d get to see this funny meetup.
