Joe Burrow & his impressive rookie season got cut short after an ACL tear limited him to only the first 10 games of the season. An off-season later, the former LSU Tiger is all-in on focusing on his highly anticipated sophomore season.

Joe Burrow lived up to the hype that earned him the 1st overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft. He threw for 13 scores to only 5 interceptions and led the team to 2 victories. But a horrid offensive line saw Burrow being tossed around with ease before his ACL tear shut down his rookie season.
Joe Burrow‘s return from a torn ACL hit a milestone last week when he took part in organized team activities. The Covid-19 pandemic limited the rookie to mostly online meetings up until training camp, so the OTA’s would definitely be something the sophomore QB would look forward to.

Joe Burrow spoke about the good and the bad of his rookie season.
The time off afforded Burrow a lot of time to look back at his play as a rookie and find areas he wants to improve in his second NFL season. Burrow shared one of them with Albert Breer.
“There was some good and some bad,” Burrow said. “I’d like to be more explosive. And I think I was really good in quick-game situations. On fourth down, we were really good. Empty, we were really good. But we need to be more explosive with play-action passes. All of our downfield passing needs to improve. I just wasn’t as accurate as I was the year before down the field.”
“And that was frustrating to me because I’ve always been a good down-the-field thrower. Just getting back to the basics of that, really focusing on my fundamentals. I just started running and throwing a few weeks ago, so standing and throwing, and focusing on the fundamentals helped.”
Joe Burrow was in the midst of something special last season before his injury…

With his former college teammate Ja’Marr Chase now also a Bengal, Joe Burrow will have a lot of weapons to throw to next season. Thus it should be very interesting to see the Bengals next season.
