Matt Ryan is currently a free agent whose future in the NFL is still uncertain. He spent the 2022 season with the Indianapolis Colts, and it was his first and only season with the team before he got released in March. In his 14 starts with the Colts, the 37-year-old quarterback recorded a career-low of 14 passing touchdowns in just 3057 passing yards. These numbers were the second-lowest in terms of passing yards for a season in his career.

Towards the end of the season, veteran backup Nick Foles replaced Ryan after he was benched. As Ryan just announced that he is joining the NLFonCBS family, does this mean he is retiring from the league? While talking about his new venture, he recently also revealed his future plans in the league.
Will Matt Ryan retire?
Although the former NFL MVP QB revealed he is just not ready to retire, he has already secured his future in the football world. From the 2023 season onwards, Ryan will work as a studio and game analyst across all CBS sports platforms. The Indianapolis Colts QB will be involved in various roles, including calling select NFL games on CBS and making appearances on programs such as ‘NFL Today’, ‘The Other Pregame Show (TOPS)’, ‘NFL Monday QB’, and CBS Sports HQ.
Excited to join the @NFLonCBS family! Looking forward to breaking down the game this season.
