The New England Patriots chose several skilled players in the 2023 NFL Draft. One such player was the Troy center, Jake Andrews, who was selected as the 107th overall pick. For a Patriots squad that spent the previous two days concentrating on the defensive side of the ball, he is the first of a total of nine picks.

Additionally, Andrews was previously coached by Cole Popovich, a former offensive line coach of the Patriots, during his time at Troy University.
