Burrow’s injury is incredibly tragic for the Bengals. The number one overall pick in this year’s draft, Burrow was playing lights out. Additionally, the Bengals had found their franchise quarterback after moving past the Andy Dalton era.
This is a significant setback, but if we have learned anything about Burrow it’s that he will not give up and come back stronger.

Joe Burrow Knee Injury Update
Burrow went down near the start of the third quarter as he was hit. Pass protection is a major issue for the Bengals as Joe Burrow has taken multiple beatings throughout the year. However, this hit was much worse.
Burrow immediately grabbed his leg in pain, and he couldn’t get up without a cart. There was a strong show of solidarity for him after the injury, however:
Players from both teams surround Joe Burrow before he got carted off 🙏
Respect.

What’s Next For the Bengals and Joe Burrow?
Burrow will be replaced by Ryan Finley for the rest of the game. To put into perspective how great Burrow has been, look at this stat:
Joe Burrow already has 5 games with 300+ Pass Yds, one shy of tying Andrew Luck’s rookie record from 2012.
Burrow is 1 of 4 QBs in NFL history with at least 5 300-yard passing games within their first 10 career games (Patrick Mahomes – 8, Andrew Luck – 5, Kurt Warner – 5). pic.twitter.com/AnSeNVbeyj

We hope Burrow makes a quick recovery and is back to airing it out soon. He is a delight to watch, and it’s sad to see him leave this way.
