Julio Jones’ historic tenure in Atlanta might be coming to an end, as the WR reportedly hit the trade block after 10 years. With most rumours surrounding Jones’ move to the New England Patriots, one photo may speak volumes.

Julio Jones set a number of records during his time as a Falcon, including becoming the fastest player to 12,000 + yards in 2019. Jones is coming off one of his worst seasons in Atlanta. He had 51 receptions for 771 yards and three touchdowns in nine games.
JULIO. JONES.
The fastest WR to hit 12,000 career yards.

The 7 time Pro Bowler missed the Pro Bowl after making it 6 straight years from 2014 through 2019. We could see the former Crimson Tide move on to a different team. And speculations hit overdrive after he was seen in a Dallas Cowboys sweatshirt.

A Cowboys fan met Julio Jones in a Dallas Cowboys sweatshirt.
Over the weekend, a football fan named Mike Starkey spotted the future Hall of Famer hanging out and got a photo with the wideout. “Met Julio Jones in Dallas, wearing a cowboys jersey… wouldn’t be mad!” Starkey wrote in a tweet.

Jones wasn’t particularly linked to the Dallas Cowboys after hitting the trade block. The Cowboys are loaded at offence, especially at the receiver position. With players like Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb and Micheal Gallup, adding Jones to the mix will definitely cement the Cowboys as the best receiver unit in the NFL.
Julio Jones is on contract through the 2023 season. And with receiver needy teams like the Packers, New England and the Ravens still in the market for a wideout, the Cowboys adding Jones to the roster might be a stretch.

But if there’s one person in the NFL who would sign a star player at a position he doesn’t need, it’s Cowboys owner Jerry Jones
Julio Jones on the Cowboys could make one of the greatest offensive units in NFL history. However, even if Jones stays in Atlanta, he will be surrounded by weapons like WR Calvin Ridley and 4th overall pick Kyle Pitts at TE. So it should be very interesting to see where Julio Jones ends up ahead of the 2021 season.
