"Miscommunication Here & There": Lamar Jackson Reveals What's Preventing His Team from Entering the End Zone at Crucial Moments

Lamar Jackson recently hit the jackpot when he signed a five-year, $260 million contract. He became the highest-paid athlete in the history of the NFL. The former Heisman Trophy winner was ecstatic and made lofty claims about how he will perform this season.

Jackson made an appearance at a press conference to talk more about his blockbuster deal. Fans were excited that they would keep watching the star quarterback call games for the Ravens. However, some made fun of the 26-year-old’s new hairstyle. The young QB is known for his stylish looks and also for his athletic talent. But when Jackson appeared in front of the cameras, fans thought that he did not look like his sharp and stylish self. They did not like his new hairstyle and did not hold back when it came to criticizing it.

Fans throw mean quips at Lamar Jackson for his new haircut

The new contract that the Ravens QB signed is still the talk of the town. Not only were fans and analysts talking about his hefty and lucrative deal, but they were also appreciating how the 2019 MVP-winner became his own agent. Even though this is an enormous achievement, fans on Twitter chose to focus on his hair instead.

During the press conference, the QB seemed grateful for the contract he got. He said, “I really didn’t care for other teams. I wanted to be here. I want to be a Raven.” In the video, one can see the QB sporting a head full of curly hair. He wore a bottle green sweatshirt and added a chain necklace as an accessory. The new look sported by him did not go well with the fans who reacted in this way:

This fan, though, supported Jackson and his new hairstyle.

Jackson reveals his goals for the 2023 season

Now that Lamar has signed a sizable and expensive contract, the QB is now looking forward to winning championships for the Baltimore Ravens. Since Jackson will be playing for the team for a long time now, he thought it was beneficial to focus on his on-field performance. Though his skills are unmatched and he is still a talented player, his goal for the 2023 season sounded a bit far-fetched.

“I want to throw for like 6,000 yards with the weapons we have,Jackson said. “I’m not an individual awards type of guy or a stat watcher, I just want to do that. Nobody has ever done it and I feel like we have the weapons to do it.”

The Ravens made some significant changes to their offensive team, as they hired Todd Monken as the new offensive coordinator. In addition to that, they have acquired notable wide receivers like Odell Beckham Jr., Zay Flowers, and Rashod Bateman. Moreover, now they also have some solid tight ends like Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely in the unit. It will be interesting to see how things develop for Lamar Jackson and his team from now on.
