$22 Million Worth Scandalous WR Antonio Brown Slapped With a $1 Million Lawsuit For Not Paying His Jeweler on Time
Tainted wide receiver Antonio Brown was inactive on social media for quite some time. Unusually, the former wideout of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was keeping himself away from the limelight. However, the Antonio we know is well and truly back. Recently, the notorious WR was accused of not paying $1.1 million to a celebrity jeweler.
According to a report released by TMZ, Shuki International, which has provided jewels to celebrity like Floyd Mayweather, is suing Brown for not being able to make payments for the items he received in 2022.
Antonio Brown is back with a fresh scandal
The 34-year-old, whose net worth is around $22 million, received a package that included a rose gold and black diamond version of Shuki’s finger jewelry. The pieces were worth $500,000 each. Additionally, Shuki gave him a ring and a white gold chain.
According to the suit, Brown received some of the items on February 24, 2022, and agreed to pay $1.1 million for all the items by December 1, 2022. However, he failed to do so. Shuki’s attorney, Steven H. Stone, said that the celebrity jeweler is expected to address the claims publicly later this week.
The wide receiver turned rapper released a song called ‘Shuki Diamond’ in order to pay his respects to the jeweler. The seven-time Pro Bowler even recorded the song with Shuki Amar. He also performed the song on stage last year.

Brown announced his departure from the NFL in March 2023. He also announced that he will become a part-owner of the Arena Football League’s Albany Empire. The move gave him a new perspective on sports.

Brown was active in the NFL for twelve years, featuring for team like the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Oakland Raiders, the New England Patriots, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 2010 NFL draft sixth-round choice went on to be a four-time First Team All-Pro selection as well as a two-time leader in receptions and receiving yards. In addition, the Central Michigan alum led the NFL in touchdown receptions in 2018.
