The Los Angeles Chargers have had a good season this time around. After three excellent wins on the trot, the Chargers came in all guns blazing against the Rams on Sunday.

While the Rams have been surprisingly good after Mayfield’s arrival, they had absolutely no answers against Herbert’s army. Although the Rams started off well in the first quarter, they were blown away by the Chargers in the second quarter.

Moreover, after that, things really went downhill for Baker’s boys as they were unable to score a single point post halftime and the contest eventually ended 31-10 in favor of the Chargers.

During the game, the Chargers fans were gifted innumerable moments to cherish but one play in specific ended up getting the most amount of attention.

Kevin Durant can’t stop praising Chargers star Mike Williams

Yes, we are talking about magnificent Mike Williams who took a fantastic catch during the second quarter. So incredible was Williams’ flying grab that even NBA superstar Kevin Durant couldn’t stop himself from appreciating it. “Cmon Mike Williams, that catch was nasty,” Kevin Tweeted.

With just over a minute left on the clock before halftime, Williams took a one-handed flying catch to help his team get closer to the field goal range.

Without a doubt, it was a brilliant grab and fans even compared it to Justin Jefferson’s one-handed catch against the Bills which allowed his team to register a memorable win in overtime.

All in all, it was a near-perfect day for the Chargers who are shaping up very nicely. With 2 touchdowns for 212 yards, Justin Herbert also had a good day in the office while his counterpart Baker Mayfield was kept quiet by Chargers’ fantastic defense.

Chase Daniel also got his chance to take the field for a while and he didn’t do anything which could earn him criticism. The Chargers(10-6) will next take on the down and out Broncos and it might also turn out to be another one-sided win for the team from Los Angeles.

Will they win 5 on the trot?
