Tyreek Hill famously left the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2022 offseason to sign with the Miami Dolphins. Over time, the fastest wide receiver in the league has developed a tendency to trash talk about his former squad. It was fun and games in the beginning; however, a few days ago, Hill gave the Chiefs an NSFW nickname. Many fans were already having a hard time ignoring that, and to add insult to injury, it was recently announced that Kansas City will not be able to face Miami at Arrowhead Stadium this year.

Kansas City cornerback L’Jarius Sneed was eager to welcome his former teammate back to Kansas City, but the league announced that the highly anticipated game between the two teams will not be played at Arrowhead. The clash of the Titans is now set to take place in Frankfurt, Germany.
Are Kansas City Chiefs fans ready for this unexpected news?
Pro Football Talk recently announced that the league has arranged for a number of games to take place outside of the country this season. Five matchups will take place on international grounds in 2023.
- Week 4– Atlanta Falcons vs Jacksonville Jaguars (London)
- Week 5– Jacksonville Jaguars vs Buffalo Bills (London)
- Week 6– Baltimore Ravens vs Tennessee Titans (London)
- Week 9– Miami Dolphins vs Kansas City Chiefs (Frankfurt)
- Week 10– Indianapolis Colts vs New England Patriots (Frankfurt)
Fans already look disappointed with the schedule as they won’t get a chance to see the former Kansas City WR play against Andy Reid’s squad. Hill had repeatedly taken mean shots at his former team, which is why KC fans were itching to give him a warm welcome in Arrowhead.
Additionally, it’s an even bigger disappointment for those Chiefs fans who hold season tickets, as they desperately wanted to see Tyreek return to Arrowhead. However, NFL thinks that Germany is a major stage for the league to grow which might have pushed them to take the major call of shifting the marquee contest to Frankfurt. Last year, the Seattle Seahawks and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers also played in Germany.
The Tom Brady-led Bucs had defeated the Seahawks in a thoroughly entertaining game. In fact, the 7x Super Bowl champion QB described it as the perfect game blessed with a fantastic atmosphere.
Tyreek Hill is ready to become Kansas City’s worst enemy
The All-Pro wide receiver recently made an appearance on Sports Radio 810 WHB. There, he talked about how hyped he was to play against his healthy rivals.
He said, “Chiefs Kingdom, when the Miami Dolphins come to Arrowhead Stadium this year, guess what we gonna do? I hate to say it, man. I hate to throw up the peace sign against y’all. I hate to do it! But guess what? I’m gonna be y’all worst enemy that day. I’m gonna be y’all worst enemy that day.”
It was during the same interview that Hill told the world he was going to call it a career after completing his current contract with Miami. This means the former Super Bowl winner would retire from the league in 2025. Moreover, he also expressed his desire to take on ‘The Problem Child’ in an entertaining boxing round after ending his association with the NFL.
Coming back to KC fans, while they may not get to welcome Tyreek this season, the wait to shower him with NSFW chants is expected to extend to the 2024 season.
