Novak Djokovic met Rafael Nadal in the second semifinal of Wimbledon 2018.
The Serbian tennis tar won a thrilling semifinal against Spain’s Rafael Nadal in the Wimbledon 2018. Novak Djokovic won 6-4, 3-6, 7-6, 3-6, 10-8. The semifinal, which was played over two days due to time limits, lived up to its hype as both the players fought to their absolute limits.
Novak Djokovic started the match strongly and his tennis was reminiscent to his peak in 2015. However, Nadal came back strongly in the second set, before the third set was evenly fought and eventually went to tie-breaker, which produced few of the best points of the match.
Rafael Nadal played bravely, using drop shots and half-volleys in game-changing moments, however it was Djokovic who held his nerve as he broke Nadal in the final set, and eventually won 10-8.
Novak Djokovic will now meet South Africa’s Kevin Anderson, who won in another marathon semifinal against America’s John Isner.

Sir David Attenborough not only survived Anderson v Isner – a 6 and a half hour epic – but is STILL in the Royal Box for Nadal v Djokovic at 10pm this evening.
He’s 92.
He’s also an absolute hero. #Wimbledon
