Patrice Evra has revealed his WhatsApp chat with Cristiano Ronaldo on Twitter.

Patrice Evra, who played with Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United between 2006 and 2009 was motivating his former teammate on Whatsapp chat. Cristiano Ronaldo replied by saying hope we smash them in reply before the game against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League Round of 16.

Juventus and Cristiano Ronaldo were humbled in the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16 clash against Atletico Madrid when Jose Maria Gimenez and Diego Godin found the back of the net to take a 2-0 lead to Allianz Stadium for the second leg.

However, their chances of going through the next round were dented as Cristiano Ronaldo stepped up his gear to bag a hat-trick and stop his former rivals from reaching the next round. The Portuguese International was the main man for the Old Lady and played with full motivation to overcome Deigo Simeone’s men.

In the first half, Federico Bernadeschi produced an excellent ball to find Juventus’ record signing Cristiano Ronaldo. The 34-year-old leaped over the defender to smash it past Jan Oblak. The visitors had the ball for the remainder of the ball and hoped for the half-time talk soon.

The defense was caught napping when Joao Cancelo attacked from the right-hand side to find Cristiano Ronaldo inside the six-yard box. The former Real Madrid forward was left unmarked which helped his course to score it past Oblak with any trouble.

The Spanish outfit changed their approach and decided to take the game to opposition half with full-throttle attacking. They were caught on the break when the Italian International Federico Bernadeschi ran through Atletico Madrid’s midfielders easily before being tripped down by Angel Correa inside the penalty box.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored the vital penalty against Juventus during last season’s Champions League Quarterfinals rose for the Old Lady this time. The 34-year-old put the ball in the left side of the net, while Oblak dived to the opposite side. This goal helped them to overcome the odds and win the game.

After this phenomenal comeback and individual performance, Patrice Evra has now decided to uncovered their Whatsapp chat to demonstrate the sheer willingness possessed by Cristiano Ronaldo.

The former Manchester United left-back, who also played for Juventus for three years has asked Cristiano Ronaldo to deliver a good performance and knock Atletico Madrid out of the competition because of the hate that club gets.

EVRA’S WHATSAPP CHAT WITH RONALDO:

The Juventus forward replied by saying that ‘Hope we smash them!’

Evra’s Tweet read “The only person in the world that can take the pressure and be the best player in the world like Michael Jordan is @Cristiano Ronaldo. Don’t try to tap the screen for his number.”

Massimiliano Allegri said that it was impossible to think that Cristiano Ronaldo has just scored one goal in this competition before he made it four on Tuesday.

“It’s impossible to think Cristiano would only score one goal in this Champions League,” he told a news conference.

“He scored because he played well in the box and his team-mates worked well in the gameplay.

“A great match with an outstanding crowd supporting us and the players gave all Italian football fans a real show. That’s the most important thing.”

The Juventus manager decided to take the pressure off the players by quoting that the Old Lady are not the favorites to lift the Champions League and his focus will be on the next round.

“Juventus is not the favourite to win the Champions League. We are one of the contenders and the trophy is one of our goals for this season, as usual,” he said.

“If we were eliminated it would have not been a failure. Juventus every year must play the Champions League and today, I repeat, we get to the next stage. Because if you don’t pass the round you don’t have any chance to win. It is very simple.

“You don’t need to graduate at Harvard to understand it – if you pass the group stage [you] have more chances, if not you play Europa League or watch the others from your sofa.” said Allegri.

Juventus will know their Quarterfinals opponents after the completion of the Europa League as the draw for both the competitions will take place on Friday.
