Paul Pogba after West Ham loss

Paul Pogba after West Ham loss: Manchester United suffered another loss in the Premier League weekend, as they went down 3-1 to West Ham.

Manchester United have endured a struggling season in the English top flight season so far. The club is currently on 10 points from seven matches, which is the worst start since David Moyes’ United in 2013/14.

Jose Mourinho’s side has also crashed out of Carabao Cup in their opening match against the lower-league side, Derby County.

Manchester United are also going through inner turmoil between the manager and the players, more specifically Paul Pogba. The Frenchman has been giving interviews undermining the tactics of Jose Mourinho during the post-match mixed-team media interaction.

The club is currently 10th in the Premier League at the moment, and there is a possibility of a further downfall if Crystal Palace gains points against Bournemouth later tonight.

The French midfielder’s comments after Manchester United’s disastrous performance against West Ham has surfaced. According to British media outlet Times, the journalists tried to stop Paul Pogba for his comments as he emerged from the London Stadium. Paul Pogba simply replied, “You want me dead?”

Luke Shaw also criticized Manchester United’s performance against West Ham, stating that the display was terrible, both as individuals and as a team. The United manager also questioned the players’ mentality after the match.

Times claims that Jose Mourinho also criticized United’s underperforming star, Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean joined Manchester United in the January transfer window, in a swap deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Since making his debut, Sanchez has only scored three goals for the club.

The Chilean winger is yet to open his goal-scoring account in the new season and has been underwhelming on the pitch. He was dropped from the squad for the match against West Ham, despite traveling with the squad.

Manchester United will return to Champions League action on Tuesday night as they take on Spanish side Valencia. Mourinho’s side cruised past Young Boys 3-0 in their opening game of the premier European tournament.

The club will return to Premier League action on Saturday night when they host Rafael Benitez’s Manchester United.
